The Council on Medical Education and Hospitals announces that Dr. Fritjof H. Arestad has been appointed to the position of Assistant Secretary. Dr. Arestad, who has been on the Council staff for thirteen years, will be concerned mainly with all hospital activities of the Council including the registry of hospitals, formerly under the direction of Mr. Homer F. Sänger, as well as with internships, residencies and fellowships.
