Allande orders Vergara to send the interpretor Antonio Garcia with a party of settlers and Indians to visit the Nabajo chiefs and determine the cause of the incident, and attempt to recover the animals taken in the raids. Summary
Civil suit begun by Antonio Ximenes, representing Manuela Carrio, to recover a debt from Agustin Beyta resulting from a contract involving sheep. To aid in the recovery of the debt Ximenes offered to pay half to the royal treasury. Case decided in favor of Carrio - Beyta admitting his failure to fulfill his obligation to deliver a set number of sheep and quantity of wool per year. (Robert H. Jackson) (1980)
