Torres, a resident of el Savinal, but at present living in El Paso, had formerly served the Spanish crown as an interpreter among the Apaches. He has presented a request for a reimbursement of expenses he sustained while working among the Apaches, who are now peacefully established in el Savinal. A search of the records is being conducted in regard to the validity of his claim. Pertinent information is being sent to the comandante general.
