Summary
Autos accusing Martinez of being drunk and shooting through the Door of Monica Gonzalez. All the people who saw the incident were questioned and all felt he was completly drunk. Autos accusing Casimiro of desertion. All soldiers who knew who knew Casimiro were interrogated for the reasons of his desertion. This Series of documents is related to the preceding folios. Autos accusing Contreras of desertion. Contreras also escapes with Burciaga and another soldier. Contreras was captured and brought to jail in San Pablo cuartel. In questioning Contreras he says he escaped because he did not have anybody to make food for him. Fiscales suggest virrey pardon him. Summary
Autos formed against Burciaga accused of desertion. Burciaga and other soldiers escape from the cuartel they were assigned to. A trial is set to determine the responsibility of Burciaga. The military who were in service that day were questioned. The questioning of Burciaga took place in jail. He argues he had to escape because he did not have food to maintain himself. Fiscales suggest to the virrey that he release Burciaga which he agrees to do. Other letters supporting the promotion of Trevino to another military position. (D. Bautista, June 1990)

Summary
Series of documents concerning the trial of Cortez accused of the murder of Zavala; medical statement is reported by Munz for the judge. The military filiation of Cortez is requested for the trial. All involved in the scene of the crime are requested to testify. Cortez testimony is based on self defense. The companion of the murder victim testifies against Cortez. The defender of Cortez makes a long statement where his client obviously is also a victim in the case. The lawyer requests a royal pardon for Cortez. The royal pardon is to be sent by virrey. (D.
