Summary
Series of letters from Borica to Peru concerning frontier matters, including Borica's investigation of Peru. Borica discovers that -1) Peru's troops are rarely revied; 2) target practice is held infrequently, so Janos soldiers shoot poorly in battle; 3) during 3 years Peru responsible for supplying his troops, he overcharged soldiers 600 pesos, including selling beef he purchased for 12 reales at 15 reales or more.
