Crimes (Assault)

Fransisco Angulo was sitting on the street corner in front of his shop the evening of may 24th, when Antonio Inurcio walked by Francisco Angulo, still seated, told Antonio Inurcio to repay unos tomines. Antonio Inurcio responded by beating Fransisco Angulo in the Head and shoulders with a stick. The Cirujano says the wounds are not serious. Fransisco Angulo demands compensation for the 15 pesos it cost to be cured. (P. Hayes) (1977)

Causa criminal against two vecinos of Santa Barbara, Alejo Munoz and Ramon Amparan, for wounding Joseph Hernandez, Parral Vecino with a wife de color oscuro, with a machete. (T. Sheridan) (1977)

Salbador Mingoche lost a footrace and had to pay a flask of wine. Juan de espaza commented that it would take 100 years for the debt to Pe paid; Salbador sent his Brother to collect the wine, and when Phelipe returned, said to Esparza, now you won't have anything to gossip about. Esparza called Salbador a gossip, where upon Salbador dealt him a blow to the Head with a macheton. Esparza and Phelipe are compadres. (R. Perez) (1977)

Anna Morales (Mulata Libre) unmarried, files charges against Nicolas de Carvajal for verbal abuse, hair pulling, and stone throwing. Carvajal is told to behave himself in the future under penalty of castigo de todo rigor. (P. Hayes) (1977)

Juan Lorenzo, a Tarahumara, is traveling through the area to work in the mines. He is attacked and robbed by three Cholomes. He fights back, killing one of them. No punishment is levied. (R. Perez) (1977)

Joseph Butron came upon Joseph Carrejo, a mayordomo of an Estancia, who was involved in confiscating a knife from a mulato. Butron demanded the knife be given to him where upon Carrejo forced him to leave at gunpoint. Later, during festivities at the Dia de pascua, Carrejo attacked Butron with a knife, inflicting several wounds. (R. Perez) (1977)

Causa criminal brought by Barbara, Alias la panoja, against Antonio Sena for assault. Barbara, discovering that Antonio has taken food from her house to give to another woman, corners him in the square and Says, cabron Cornudo, y me sacaste Mi comida, para llebarse las a la puta de tu amiga.
