Continuation of correspondence with gobernador of Nuevo Santander. Includes account of Indian attack against Villa San Juan involving many deaths and theft of livestock and furniture. Brutality of attack prompts execution of Indians captured during raid, and orders by Rubio to immediately punish Indians in the field if caught raiding Spanish settlements. Protocol for monthly inspection of troops issued by Rubio, with long Series of replies from military commanders of each guarnicion following.
