Various Parral officials, including capitan comandante de milicias Nicolas de Bustamante, complain about escandolos publicos and gente ociosa in Parral and prohibit public congregations in the Side streets (vendimias), where pecados between men and women frequently occur, as well as fandangos in private homes without a license, juegos de naipes, etc. All gente ociosas, Sin destino are to be arrested and put to work in mines. juegos de pelota, and firing arms after dark also forbidden. Related document, also by Bustamante (2/23/1787) states that no vecinos or sirvientes can leave their pueblos, haciendas or Ranchos without written permission of alcalde o de el Senor Cura o de el respectivo dueno de hacienda o rancho. Sierra is involved in a civil suit demanding payment of a debt. His account ledger is entered in evidence. Contains accounts received and payable. A notebook, also entered as evidence contains prices for mining supplies as well as wages paid to peones. (R. Perez) (1977 others- 0860-0861- Cuenta de la hacienda de San Antonio de la Gomera. The real tribunal de Mineria decrees that each mining district has to pick up its own Azoque in Acapulco or Veracruz, and that the price has increased by 6 pesos/quintal. Antonio Asque y Armendariz and Antonio Nana compile a list of all persons belonging to the Gremio Minero and call a junta. (P. Hayes) (1977)

Ignacio Artalejo, merchant, files a complaint against two of his employees- Antonio Machuca, a mulato, and Jose Caveros, an espanol, for stealing bread and selling it. The two are sentenced to prison labor in a mine until their wages have accumulated to the amount of the thefts. (R. Perez) (1977)
